International Baccalaureate
We are an accredited International Baccalaureate Diploma School. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program reflects our concern for increasing global awareness and intellectual rigour, and provides opportunities for all students to achieve the highest levels of academic growth of which they are capable.
The IB Diploma Programme is highly regarded by universities in Australia and throughout the world. Taught in approximately 1500 schools world-wide, the IB Diploma gives direct access to the most prestigious universities around the world. It is similar in depth and scope to British GGE 'A' Levels, the French Baccalaureate and U.S. Advanced Placement.
The Diploma is a two-year, pre-university certificate for senior students, administered from the International Baccalaureate Offices in Geneva and Cardiff and examined by an international body of examiners representing many countries and cultural traditions.
All students undertaking the IB Diploma Programme choose subjects from the following subject groups:
