Chaplaincy

The College Chaplain provides a range of support services to the students, staff and families and promotes and enhances the core values of the College.

Our aim is to support students through their emotional and spiritual development from the Early Learning Centre to Year 12 and providing an immediate source of support in times of distress or trauma. Sometimes a listening ear and wise counsel for students, staff and families can assist in resolving issues quickly and easily.

The Chaplain delivers our Beliefs and Values program, conducts Chapel services and leads worship at assemblies and other College occasions. He is also available to conduct Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and other sacred ceremonies for the Princes community.

Chapel services are dynamic occasions that encourage the participation and input of all students. They incorporate both public and personal reflection, a high level of care and support and seek to connect the message of Christ in a relevant and contemporary style to the lives of our young men.

Under the auspices of the Uniting Church in Australia, the College has established strong links with like churches and youth groups across the state which ensures both a genuine sense of community and provides long term opportunities for all students  to maintain and practice their faith.

We seek to appreciate and uphold our Christian values and nurture the spiritual capabilities of all students, thus developing well rounded, compassionate and empathetic young men keen to, and capable of, improving the world around them.
