House Structure

We encourage interaction and support that develops a genuine sense of belonging.

The College House program provides all students with opportunities  to demonstrate their own unique gifts and talents and celebrate those of others.

By participating in House activities the boys promote school spirit, foster a genuine sense of collegiality and forge wonderful friendships within a tight knit school community.

All students belong to one of the four Houses named after four of our founding fathers;

   Taylor, Watsford, Waterhouse, and Cotton

It is our aim that, as enthusiastic participants of their House, all students will develop the skills of teamwork and relationship building and the ability to support and affirm others just as our founders envisaged in 1869.

The program  run by students for all students sees the four Houses compete across the year for the prestigious Wesley Cup.

Students participate in inter-house Swimming, Athletics, Rowing, Chess, Debating, Music and Drama performances and year level lunchtime sports.  The Academic Effort grades earned by any student also contribute to the House points tally.

It is an exciting, healthy and enjoyable aspect of Student Life that simultaneously celebrates student diversity and community unity.
