Library Redevelopment

The heart of our learning community

Thank you for considering supporting the Library Development. Our Senior School Library is the heart of our learning community, providing a wide array of resources for staff and students alike, as well as a welcoming environment for individual and group study activities, before, during and after school. The library is home to significant archival collections, such as the ‘Bundey’ collection, as well as providing a space for clubs and activities, including chess, photographic displays and talks.

With the increase in student numbers in recent years, the current library and classroom areas are nearing capacity. The proposed library redevelopment, which will fulfil the original design brief, incorporates a first-floor extension over the Dining Hall to incorporate a new library area, two additional classrooms, meeting rooms and study spaces.

This significant project, which is anticipated to cost around $2 million has attracted early interest from community members, with some generous pledges already received. We anticipate that this essential project will be completed in the second half of this year, providing a bright and spacious environment that will benefit all students, both now and into the future.
