Applications For Enrolment

You are invited to apply to enrol your son at PAC in our Early Learning Centre (2 – 4 year olds) and any Year level from Reception through to Year 12. We also welcome applications for enrolment of girls in our Early Learning Centre.

Step 1: Please complete the online Application for Enrolment at PAC.

To complete the online application, you will need to have ready a scanned copy of the birth certificate ready to upload and a credit card ready to pay the non-refundable application fee of AUD$100.

Step 2: Offers of a place

If your application is for commencement this year or next year, we will contact you shortly to discuss offering your child a place at PAC.

If the commencement year is more than two years from now, we will make an offer of a place on March 1, two years prior subject to meeting all the criteria below  (e.g. if applying for Grade 7 2026, we will contact you to make an offer on 1 March 2024.)

Criteria for PAC making an offer of a place for your child:

  • the Application for Enrolment has been completed
  • there is a place available in the requested year and grade level and, if required, that there’s a boarding place available
  • his subject choices are available
  • we are able to provide appropriate academic support if required
  • his residency status and level of English competency are appropriate.

If the number of students seeking enrolment in a year and grade level exceeds the number of places available, we prioritise according to factors such as date of application and family connections.

Step 3: Accepting the Offer

Once the Headmaster makes an offer of a place, parents then confirm their acceptance of the offer via the online Enrolment Acceptance Portal. To confirm their acceptance of the offer, parents or guardians:

  • digitally sign the terms and conditions
  • pay the non-refundable Enrolment Acceptance Fee of $1,250 – includes lifetime membership of the Prince Alfred College Old Scholars Association
  • provide information required to: enrol him in the appropriate subjects; ensure his safety, health and privacy; establish the rules for communications with parents/guardians; and satisfy government requirements.

Reception Intake Eligibility – Term 1 and Term 3
Term 1 Eligibility: students who turn five years of age between 1 August and 28 February, if places are available

Term 3 Eligibility: students who turn five years of age between 1 March and 1 August, if places are available

Students who enter Term 3 Reception will be required to spend 6 terms in Reception.

International Students
We are licensed to enrol 80 full fee paying overseas students (FFPOS) who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia. The process of enrolment of FFPOS is in keeping with immigration legislation and procedure.

Billing Currency and Refund Policy
All transactions processed in relation to an application for enrolment are processed in Australian Dollars.

Payments made with an application for enrolment are non-refundable. Payments made ‘in error’ may, however, be considered for refund. In such cases the request for consideration should be addressed to admissions@pac.edu.au.
