Applications For Enrolment
Applications for enrolment to Prince Alfred College must be made either via the online Application Form, or on the printable Application Form below and returned to the College with a non-refundable application fee of AUD$100 and a copy of your son’s Birth Certificate. Your son’s name will then be placed on the waiting list in order of receipt. When the number of students seeking enrolment exceeds the number of places available, consideration will be given to priority status; such as sons of Old Scholars. Evidence of permanent residency must be provided by those not born in Australia, otherwise the enrolment will be processed as an International enrolment.
On 1 March each year an offer for place at the College is made for a place 2 years in advance (dependent upon vacancies). For example if applying for 2019 then an offer of place in the relevant year level will be made on 1 March 2017. When a place is offered, a non refundable Enrolment Fee of $1,250 which includes membership to the Prince Alfred College Old Scholars Association must be paid to confirm acceptance of the place.

Reception Age Policy
Students who turn five years of age between 1 August and 28 February may commence Reception in term 1 which is usually in February, providing places are available. Students who turn five years of age between 1 March and 1 August may commence Reception in term 3 which is in July, providing places are available. Students who enter the Mid-Year Reception class will be required to spend 6 terms in Reception.
Enrolments to the Early Learning Centre must be completed separately to the College enrolment.

Please note, parents wishing to enrol their son at the ELC, and to the College must return both forms for consideration.
Billing Currency and Refund Policy
All transactions processed in relation to an application for enrolment are processed in Australian Dollars.
Payments made with an application for enrolment are non-refundable. Payments made ‘in error’ may, however, be considered for refund. In such cases the request for consideration should be addressed to the Manager, Student Recruitment via an email sent to [email protected].
We are licensed to enrol 80 full fee paying overseas students (FFPOS) who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia. The process of enrolment of FFPOS is in keeping with immigration legislation and procedure.
International enrolments follow a similar process to that for domestic students. A copy of a passport along with results from a standard Language Testing Program such as AEAS should be included with the application. Documentation of previous school performance and reports should also accompany the application which will be assessed by the Headmaster.
