Australia Day Honours

Congratulations to our Old Reds who have been recognised in Australia Day Honours for their outstanding service and contribution.

Mr Stephen Charles HAINS AM (PAC 1955-1966)
For significant service to local government, to education, and to the community.

Professor William Frederic HEDDLE AM RFD (PAC 1954-1965)
For significant service to cardiology, to tertiary education, and to professional associations.

Mr Ian Barry DIGBY OAM (PAC 1950-1954)
For service to the community, and to the motor industry.

Mr Alexander HILL OAM (PAC 2008-2010)
For service to sport as a gold medallist at the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.

In announcing the list the Governor General said, “Collectively the recipients, whose achievements span community service, science and research, industry, sport, the arts and more, represent the strength and diversity of Australia. […] It has been a challenging couple of years and the recipients announced today are a reminder and reflection of the richness of spirit, selflessness and good in our community.”

Congratulations again to our Old Reds on their outstanding achievements.
