The pride of the College’s boarding students was at full strength last Thursday as they honoured Peter Treloar MP (PAC 1978) for his outstanding contribution to the life of the Boarding House.

Annually since 2013, Mr Treloar has recognised leadership in the Boarding House by hosting Boarding Prefects for dinner at Parliament House, followed by a tour. As he is retiring at the next election, the Captains and Prefects hosted Mr Treloar, his wife Annette and sons Thomas (2011) and Max (2016) at a formal dinner with all boarders. Mr Treloar was delighted that his former Headmaster, Mr Geoffrey Bean AM, was able to join him.

Will Charlton (Captain of Boarding) and Mitch Searle (Captain of the School) presented a framed print of the College’s historic Main Building to Mr Treloar.

Thank you, Peter, for your commitment to leadership in the Boarding House.

Yesterday, we unveiled the new Indigenous guernsey and what a result! Created in consultation with Aboriginal students Zac and Tyrell (Year 12) and PAC Old Scholar Jason Coleman (2018), the guernsey features prominent Kaurna imagery and tells the Dreamtime story of Tjilbruke.

A big thank you to Uncle John for attending and performing a smoking ceremony and to Mr Adam Mason for accompanying on the didgeridoo. Go Reds! 🔴⚪
