Last weekend, our boys competed in The South Australian Rowing State Championships held at the Alex Ramsay Regatta Course. Princes performed admirably, coming away with an impressive seven state titles. Having resumed training together in early January, our crews have battled away in challenging circumstances to prepare for the competition. The weekend’s regatta was their first racing since early December and the boys made the most of it.
A resurgent 1st VIII posted two fast times in close racing to pile the pressure on their opposition in what is shaping up to be the most exciting Head of the River in years. Our younger rowers were dominant throughout their racing. The results are a great reward for all the character the team have shown in working hard and setting high standards. A huge thank you also, to all of our amazing supporters this season.
