Colin Dunsford studied economics and became a qualified chartered accountant and has used his professional experiences to the benefit of a wide range of charities and other not-for- profit organizations. His service to the community and the accounting profession was recognized with Membership of the Order of Australia in 2013.
Within the Arts sector Colin has served as chair of the State Opera of SA and deputy chair of the Adelaide Festival of Arts and is currently chair of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. He has served the disability sector as chair of Bedford Industries and as a board member of the Neil Sasche Foundation and the Peter Couche Foundation. Colin also serves as a board member of the Aboriginal Foundation of SA, chairman of the Leaders’ Institute of SA and is former chairman of the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Colin’s participation as a player and committee member of the PAC Old Collegians’ Football Club led to service as secretary of the PAOCA and in 2013, he was inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame.
