Singer and songwriter, Jonathon Wibberley was a boarder at the School from Tumby Bay, where he worked on fishing boats, in hotels, and on construction sites before moving to Adelaide to spend twelve months at the Flinders University Drama Academy.
Wibberley, whose music combines rock and country influences, has drawn critical acclaim and he has successfully recorded and launched CDs of his works. Using his experiences of the ups and downs of life on Eyre Peninsula as inspiration for his song writing, Wibberley is considered an artist who tells a story well through songs that come from the heart, evoking a range of emotions. He has signed a recording contract with Festival Records.
