Murray Olsson had shown his commitment to Prince Alfred College in many ways. He served for 23 years on the PAOCA committee and on two occasions was President (1983 and 1996) and was accorded Honorary Life Membership in 1999. He was an early member of the Prince Alfred College Foundation and served on its executive.
In his younger days Murray played more than 200 games for the PAOCA Cricket Club. He also participated in the Association's Football Club, was founding Chairman of the Badminton Club and for 8 years President of the Hockey Club. Twice he has served as Master of the Prince Alfred Old Collegians Lodge, the only school-based lodge in South Australia.
His long term-participation combined with his sense of humour and willingness to give to his old school and the wider community has earned Murray Olsson the respect of Princes’ men of all ages.
