Peter Waters ability as a pianist was recognised early, he began playing at eleven years of age, and was awarded the William Silver Scholarship for study at Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium of Music at the age of 15. Other early achievements included two solo performance prizes from the Royal College of Music and the awarding of the Australian Musical Association Prize. Based in Switzerland, his career is Europe focused. He has performed at many European Festivals, including the acclaimed Salzburg Festival. In 1985 he performed at the Bach Tricentennial Festival as soloist with Philharmonia Hungarica. He has also been a regular performer at the Barossa Festival.
