Being Ready Makes Anything Possible

The future belongs to those who are ready for it. At Prince Alfred College, we believe being ready makes anything possible.

Since our inception in 1869, we have all enjoyed a school that has balanced tradition with progress to help develop well-rounded boys to contribute positively to society.

At Prince Alfred College, we’re embracing the rapid change we, and our children, are facing, but we know how important the foundational skills are both developmentally and academically.

This means our traditions and values are even more important as they provide the solid foundation for change; change done the right way.

To help embed and inspire this next phase for Prince Alfred College, over the last 12 months we have conducted a rigorous process of consultation and distillation to create a new brand strategy and idea for the entire school to advance and rally around.

Headmaster, Mr David Roberts, said of the new strategy, "At Prince Alfred College, we passionately embrace the privilege of readying young men for the world ahead; a world that doesn’t stand still for anyone.

Here, success is not defined by a successful exam, game day or opening night. It’s grounded in the focused preparation that builds the confidence, skill and character required to deal with these moments.

With experience and care, our boys are consistently being readied to embrace challenge, harness individual strength, lead with empathy, serve others, create lasting bonds and, importantly, show up but not show off."

An all-boys education gives boys the freedom to learn, lead and develop in ways that are uniquely suited to them. At PAC, we help every boy discover his purpose and realise his potential through a rich mix of academic, cultural, service and co-curricular experiences. Our boys are expected to lead, contribute and belong; they edit publications, perform on stage, serve others, compete on the field, and meet academic challenges; all proudly beside their peers, supporting one another and speaking up when it matters most.

As educators who engage our boys every day, Being Ready represents a commitment to preparing their character, their knowledge and their know-how for what’s next. We would like to thank the students and staff who so enthusiastically helped to bring this campaign to life.

This responsibility is not lost any of us, and is something we embrace with vigour and great enthusiasm.

Being ready makes anything possible.
