Our New Prep School

On Tuesday 21 April 2026, it was wonderful to welcome and share the experience of our new Preparatory School with our families. It was a delight to watch the awe and excitement on the faces of the boys from Reception to Year 6 as they explored the new outdoor learning and play areas and saw the new classrooms.

The occasion provided families with the opportunity to explore the thoughtfully designed buildings and grounds, greet staff, and gain insight into how the new Prep School supports a confident and enriching journey for our boys. Designed specifically with young learners in mind, the environment reflects PAC’s commitment to providing a strong foundation for learning from the very beginning.

Every aspect of the Prep School has been carefully considered to support how boys learn best. Large, light‑filled classrooms offer calm, flexible spaces that encourage curiosity, engagement and collaboration. A range of breakout rooms—both large and small—allow for targeted support, extension opportunities and small‑group learning, ensuring each boy is known and supported in his learning journey.

Beyond the classrooms, expansive outdoor learning and play areas invite exploration and movement. Purposefully selected equipment promotes active play, imaginative thinking and physical development, recognising the important role of outdoor experiences in the primary years. These spaces encourage boys to build confidence, develop social skills and engage with learning in a dynamic and meaningful way.

The new Prep School reflects PAC’s belief that the youngest years are critical in shaping a love of learning, independence and resilience. By offering purpose-designed environments, specialist teaching and a nurturing community, PAC continues to provide an exceptional beginning to each boy’s educational journey.

The opening of the Prep School is a significant step in the College Master Plan program completing the project on time. We now look to the next stages of development of our car park and multi-purpose sports field.
