The East Adelaide District SAPSASA swimming trials were held on Wednesday 10 March at the Payneham swimming pool.

We took a team of 17 PAC boys from Year 4-7 who were selected based on their results from the Prep and Secondary swimming carnivals held at the end of February.

While the boys were excited about competing, there were also plenty of nerves before the races began, especially from the younger boys who were competing at a SAPSASA event for the first time.

All PAC boys swam really well and we won numerous heats throughout the day. Not only did the boys swim well but they were also exceptionally well behaved and represented the college with pride.

A big thank you to the many parents that came out to support the boys on the day. The support was well appreciated and I’m sure the cheering helped a few of our boys swim that bit faster.

Congratulations to the nine PAC boys who have now been selected in the East Adelaide team to compete at the SAPSASA Metro Swimming Championships at Marion on Thursday 25 March. Those boys are: Alexander Knipp-Langley, Blaise Stewart, Taj Panelli (Year 5), William Maynard, Kai Ivins (Year 6), Fred Hassell, Finn Carey, Thomas Lindsey and Angus Mills (Year 7).
