Winter Intercol 2025

Welcome to Winter Intercol 2025

This winter season of co-curricular has tested the resilience and camaraderie of our boys, with many fixtures played through wind and rain. As we look ahead to this year's Winter Intercol, we're hopeful for clear skies and good conditions. But should the rain return, we will embrace it with good spirit - especially if it brings much-needed relief to our farmers.

Welcome to the fields, rooms and courts of Prince Alfred College. It is a special time when our two great schools again come together in the hope that lasting memories will be created, building upon over 150 years of friendship and rivalry. I thank Headmaster Mr Browning and his team of staff for partnering with us in our shared mission as we both understand the collective responsibility we have to protect our great history. We know that we do this from a strong position given the foundation of our friendship and rivalry is the respect that those who compete as well as those who cheer from the sidelines share for each other.

I look forward to seeing you around the College and hearing the stories of triumph and perhaps a last gasp victory, but also stories of hard-fought losses. These experiences make up the rich tapestry of each of our lives. We know that our players, coaches and spectators will continue to ensure dignity and humility is in abundance.

Thank you to the staff who have made all this possible including the umpires, administrative staff and groundsman and all the best to the players and coaches from both schools for the playing of the 2025 Winter Intercol.
