Opportunities for Every Boy
Music is a vital part of life at the College, offering students a chance to develop confidence, discipline, and creativity, while contributing to the broader cultural life of the school.
We have recently established a new Instrumental Tuition Bursary Endowment Fund to support students who wish to learn an instrument but may need financial assistance. This will ensure that more students can take part in music, regardless of their circumstances.
At the same time, the strength of our music program depends not only on participation, but also on balance. Certain instruments, such as oboe, French horn and tuba, are essential to the richness of our ensembles, yet are often the hardest to fill. There can also be gaps in other areas. The fund will allow the College to support students to take up these instruments and to learn them well, with access to the specialist tuition required.
As an endowment, the fund is designed to provide support not just now, but for generations of students to come. Over time, it will help build a strong and inclusive music program, enriching ensembles, performances, and the experience of the whole College community.
There is also an opportunity to establish a named bursary within the endowment, creating a lasting legacy that reflects your family’s values and commitment to opportunity and education.
If you would like to support more boys to experience the joy of music, please consider a tax-deductible donation using the secure online form below, or contact Helen Karapandzic on +61 8 8334 1272 or by email for a confidential discussion.
