Opportunities for Every Boy
Music is an important part of life at Prince Alfred College. From Chapel services and assemblies to concerts and performances, it gives boys the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence and experience a sense of belonging.
We believe every boy who wants to learn an instrument should have that opportunity. For some families, however, the cost of tuition can be a barrier. We are seeking support to help more boys access music lessons, regardless of their financial circumstances.We have already seen the difference this can make. Thanks to the generosity of an Old Scholar, two boys have begun learning the organ in the College Chapel and will, in time, contribute to the musical life of the College through Chapel and Church services. With the support of our community, more boys will have the opportunity to learn an instrument, develop their talents and experience the lifelong benefits of music.
