Building for Tomorrow
Work is underway on a new Multi-Purpose Sports Field, a dedicated home for soccer on campus and a vibrant sporting hub for the College community.
This project reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to creating exceptional learning environments, both in and beyond the classroom. High-quality spaces for sport and activity play an important role in supporting student development, wellbeing, and connection.
Many soccer activities currently rely on shared or off-site facilities. The new Multi-Purpose Sports Field will allow students to train and compete on campus, strengthening participation and engagement, and fostering a strong sense of belonging.
From lunchtime kick-arounds to training sessions and competition fixtures, the purpose-built grass field will support participation at every level. It will provide a high-quality surface for sport while encouraging teamwork, skill development, and a sense of community.
The field will also be used for physical education and other activities, and over time will become an important shared space for the wider College community. Beyond sport, the project will enhance the approach to the Main Building and strengthen the College’s presence along Flinders Street. Views to active green space will create a more welcoming and connected campus, supported by the continuation of the College’s distinctive wrought-iron fencing along Flinders Street.
Gifts of $1,500 or greater, made as a single contribution or pledged over time, will be recognised in the new spectator seating area. Naming and major recognition opportunities are also available for significant gifts.
