Prince Alfred College Playgroup

For children aged six months to five years and their families. 

Get ready to have some fun at the Prince Alfred College playgroup! 

Enjoy a variety of age-appropriate activities in a safe and welcoming environment, and the opportunity to get to know other parents with children of a similar age. 

Session Times

The playgroup runs from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Mondays during the school term. Please see the program below for more details!

      Location

      Sessions are held in PD09 (adjacent the veggie garden) in the Prince Alfred College Preparatory School.

      Enter the College via the Parade West and follow signs to the Playgroup.

      What to bring

      Please bring a hat and sunscreen for outside play, plus a drink and a snack for your child. Please no nuts or nut products.

      Booking

      There is a cost of $10 per session, including the cost of all activities and materials, with discounts available on term bookings. For more information, please contact the Prep School Office on 8334 1203.

      Sophie Havis

      Hello and welcome to Playgroup! I am an experienced and passionate early childhood educator who has had the privilege of working extensively with babies and young children.

      Our Playgroup offers a fun and interactive way for children and their families to learn and discover together through a variety of experiences and activities. For children, play and learning are intricately linked; through play, children learn about the world around them and develop essential problem-solving, social and physical skills.

      At Playgroup, children and their families can interact with others at the same stage of life and build a community of support. This time is a wonderful opportunity to spend with your child in a supportive and flexible environment.
