The first weeks of Term 1 saw the Year 9 students develop their drawing skills and completing tasks on classic basketball shoe designs. Shoes from the 60s, 70s and 80s were explored and how their style and design had changed over the decades.
In Year 11, the students have been exploring the topic of Australian Art and Identity and have been completing tasks on the natural environment. A series of observational drawings were completed of eucalyptus leaves.
Not only does observational drawing improve drawing skills, it also develops concentration and accuracy.
