During Term 1, the Year 9 students explored a variety of techniques and art practices. Lino printmaking was introduced towards the end of the term with the students creating an artwork utilising the theme of nature and the natural surroundings. The Australian artist, Margaret Preston, was studied for inspiration.
The Year 11 students completed their Term 1 Visual Study, exploring the subject of Australian Art and Identity. Their final artwork was created using the knowledge and skills they learnt during Term 1. Each of the three artworks displays a unique style and use of different media.
