Master Plan Update October 2025

News
31 October 2025

On Monday 20 October, the College marked a significant milestone in the construction of the new Preparatory School with a traditional topping out ceremony.

Celebrating a Milestone: Preparatory School Topping Out Ceremony

The topping out ceremony celebrates the completion of the building’s highest point—a symbolic moment in the life of any major construction project.

Held on-site, the ceremony brought together key members of our community and project partners. Guests included representatives from the College Council, the Foundation, and the Infrastructure Committee, whose vision and support have been instrumental throughout the development. We were also pleased to welcome our building partners, Marshall & Brougham and Walter Brooke and Associates, whose expertise and dedication have helped bring the project to life.

The topping out ceremony is a long-standing tradition in the construction industry. It signifies good fortune for the building and its future occupants, and acknowledges the hard work of everyone involved.

With the structure now at full height, attention turns to the next phase of construction. We look forward to sharing further updates as the Preparatory School continues to take shape—ready to welcome students into a modern, inspiring learning environment.
