Fiona Howat, Preparatory School Literacy Coordinator, spent time with the Junior Primary students reading the book ‘Family Tree’ by Josh Pyke and Ronojoy Gosh.
National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country, and internationally.
It was a wonderful way to spend some time with the Receptions to Year 2s enjoying a story and developing the love of reading with the boys!
