Congratulations to Old Scholar Max Kirkby (PAC 2004-2018) who has been awarded a prestigious Rhodes Scholarship to attend Oxford University in 2023.

Prefect Development Camp

On the 16th of October, the newly appointed Prefects departed PAC at 7am to Scott’s Creek, to begin their Prefect Development Camp. The camp is integral for the boys to form bonds with each other, understand their role as a Prefect and to develop leadership skills which will be important for their character and as a Prefect in 2022/23 and beyond.

King’s Speech Competition

In the twelfth King’s Speech Competition since it’s conception in 2011, and the first King’s Speech Competition in which our head of state is actually the ‘King’, this year we saw 13 competitors from the Preparatory, Middle and Senior Schools deliver 26 speeches on a typically wide range of topics, ranging from social and environmental issues to themes to do with education, war, death and gender.

Passionate Year 10 History students congregated in the chapel last Thursday to learn more about the Vietnam War and its impact on Australian society. To help us do this, we were very pleased to welcome veteran and old scholar, Jock Statton OAM who answered a plethora of questions from the boys.
