A Magnificent New Community Venue
On Saturday 29 April, we were delighted to welcome the Hon Peter Malinauskas MP, Premier of South Australia, and Richard Hockney, Chair of College Council, to officially open the Park 9 Pavilion - a magnificent new sporting facility for use by the Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Football Club and Cricket Club, as well as the College, local sporting groups and the wider community.
The new Park 9 Pavilion is more than just a building. It is a place which inspires and encourages teamship, mateship and the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle; a place that our community groups can be proud to call home.
The Park 9 Pavilion has been a true community effort and we are forever grateful to our incredible donors, volunteers, sponsors and supporters who have been with us every step of the way. We also acknowledge the generous support of the State Government’s Infrastructure Projects grant programs, our architect Design Inc, Chappell Builders and everyone else involved in making this dream a reality.
As we enter the new footy season, we are confident that the new Pavilion will serve as a hub for our athletes and a source of pride for our community. It is a legacy that we can all be proud of and one that will continue to benefit generations to come.
