High School Mooting Competition

News

On 10 June, Year 11 students Isaac Dodd, Tarun Kamath, Thomas North and Rahul Ravindran competed in the high school mooting competition run by the University of Adelaide Law School.

It was impressive to see the growth in appellate advocacy achieved by these students in such a short preparation time, and this was manifest in their ability to engage with bench generally and in responding to questions. After two rounds Prince Alfred College narrowly lacked the points to make the final, but their third place in a field of more senior and more experienced mooters was highly praised and well-rewarded with a novelty cheque.
