As part of their Unit of Inquiry, ‘Where we are in place and time’, the Year 3 boys have been busy learning about Australia and our neighbouring countries, including Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Fiji and Vanuatu. They have independently researched Australia and one of our closest neighbours and identified similarities and differences. Today they took action by building Solar Buddy Lamps as Part of the ‘Light up Vanuatu’ Campaign. These lights, along with letters from our boys, will go to children who are living in energy poverty in Vanuatu.
