Mathematics Competition News

The Australian Mathematics Competition ran in Week 2 of this term. Our Secondary School students competed in 3 categories, solving 30 questions in 75 minutes. The results are out and we are delighted with the number of students who were recognised for their achievement.

Over 130 boys participated in this competition in 2022 with 46 achieving a Credit, 61 achieving a Distinction and 15 being awarded a High Distinction.

Best of School award goes to Deren Yin (Year 8), who won a Prize in the junior category. Well done!

We congratulate all the boys who took part and especially the award winners!

These results have now been included in the Wesley Cup Mathematics results, contributing to House points alongside the South Australian Hamann School Mathematics Competition. With an impressive win in the AMC, Cotton has won the Mathematics Wesley Cup, which added a further 40 points to their overall Wesley Cup score.
