A note from the Head of Preparatory School
When the Nativity performance for a school comes around, it reminds us how quickly the year has gone and how much we have to be thankful for. As we have navigated the year, we have had the pleasure to watch the boys of the Junior Primary grow and develop and change so much in the ten short months they have been in their classes.
This year the JP performance of ‘Living Hope’ helps us to reflect on the special night when the Baby Jesus came into the world as a helpless but unique child. The message of hope his birth brought to the world has never decreased. Learning about celebrating his birth is a rite of passage for children in most schools and is one we are happy we can share with the families of the Prep School this year.
I want to thank the teachers of the Junior Primary for the brilliant work of bringing 100 boys together and onto the stage to perform our nativity play. Our play this year is again an original work from the imagination of our own Mr Christopher Richards. I also want to thank Ms Runge for her assistance with the music and singing.
Following the Nativity, we will sing a few Christmas classics. The PAC Carol Concert features the talents of the Prep School Junior Voices and the Senior School Choir. I hope you will join and sing along with the choir to a few of our favourite Christmas songs.
As we enter the Christmas season, I want to thank the boys, parents, and staff of the Junior Primary for the excellent year we have enjoyed. I wish you all a wonderful and joyous holiday season, and I hope you and your family will be blessed.

Joy to the World!
Verse 1
Joy to the world!
The Lord has come
Let Earth receive her King!
Let every heart prepare Him room
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven, and Heaven and nature sing
Verse 2
Joy to the Earth!
The Saviour reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods
Rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy
Verse 3
No more let sins and sorrows grow
Nor thorns infest the ground
He comes to make
His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found
Far as the curse is found
Far as, far as the curse is found
Verse 4
He rules the world with truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders, wonders of His love
O Holy Night
O Holy night! The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Till He appears and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees; O hear the Angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born
O night, O Holy night, O night divine!
Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand
Over the world a star sweetly gleaming
Now come the Wise Men from Orient land
The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger
In all our trials born to be our friend
He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger
Behold your King; before Him lowly bend
Behold your King; before Him lowly bend
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His Gospel is Peace
Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother
And in His name, all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we
With all our hearts praise His Holy name
Christ is the Lord; O praise His name forever!
His power and glory evermore proclaim
His power and glory evermore proclaim
