Additional Year 4 Class in 2023

Year 4 is a great time to start in a new school. It’s a formative time in a boy’s development, when new interests are formed and friendships are made for life.

Prince Alfred College is excited to be offering an additional Year 4 class in 2023 to cater for increased interest in enrolment – and there are good reasons why families are considering earlier entry.

In Year 4, boys get to experience new and exciting aspects of the Prince Alfred College Prep School program. They start participating in an inter-school sports program, training and competing in a range of winter and summer sports each week. They engage in robotics, learning to build and program robots, as well as fly drones. They have specialist science lessons in the College’s dedicated Prep School science lab, and get to join bands, orchestras and ensembles to develop their musical and creative side. The boys also spend time at the College’s outdoor education centre on the Murray River to learn about the Australian bush and our natural environment. All of these new experiences are in addition to the Chinese, music, art and PE lessons they enjoy each week.

These rich offerings support the high-quality differentiated classroom teaching, enrich their learning and open up new areas of interest, enhancing their total educational experience at PAC.

Leading these programs are outstanding educators who work with the boys each day. Setting exciting challenges in wonderful learning spaces, the teachers get the best out of each boy and provide many opportunities for them to thrive and develop.
