A Foundation for the Future
For over 50 years, members of the Prince Alfred College community have come together through the Foundation to help create lasting opportunities for boys to thrive. Whether through scholarships, enhanced learning spaces or support for inspiring programs, every gift helps shape the experiences and futures of our students and leaves a legacy that extends well beyond the school gates.
The Foundation’s first project was the development of the Scott’s Creek Outdoor Centre in the mid-1970s, a project that enriches our education program to this day. More recent developments supported by the Foundation include the RED Centre and the Boarding House.
The Foundation has also established over the past decade a significant endowment for scholarships for day and boarding students, and gratefully received gifts for key projects through bequests. Click here to explore the Foundation's remarkable 50-year history.
The Foundation Board plays a vital role in supporting the long-term advancement of the College. Comprising dedicated community members and College representatives, the Board provides strategic guidance and stewardship of philanthropic initiatives. Through its leadership, the Foundation helps ensure the ongoing growth and success of key programs, facilities, and opportunities for current and future students. Join the Foundation
Join our community of supporters who are changing the lives of our boys. The Prince Alfred College Foundation recognises individuals and organisations who have given $5,000 or more, either as a one-off gift or over time. There are different levels of membership based on your cumulative giving. Gifts made to the Prince Alfred College Building Fund, annual appeals, as well as other donations, all contribute to your Foundation membership. Click here to explore areas for support.
As a member of the Foundation, you will be invited to attend regular events, including our Foundation Business Breakfasts and donor appreciation events, which provide opportunities to connect with the Headmaster, staff and students, and with our community of supporters.
