Mark attended PAC from 1996 to 2003, graduating as Dux of the School. Mark was awarded a scholarship to study Law and Commerce at the University of Adelaide, and graduated in 2009 with First Class Honours.
After leaving university, Mark worked as an intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, a United Nations tribunal situated in The Hague. Moving to Melbourne in 2010, Mark worked at the law firm Allens Arthur Robinson, and as an Associate to the Hon Justice Susan Crennan AC of the High Court of Australia.
In 2013-2014, Mark completed a Master of Law at the University of Cambridge, where he received the B R D Clarke Prize for Best Overall Performance in the LLM and the Chancellor's Medal for English Law.
In 2015, Mark began practising as a barrister at the Victorian Bar. In 2018, Mark was part of the team of counsel assisting the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry.
