Though a trained lawyer, Rex Dawe, better known as ‘Wacca’, excelled as a comedian and producer of radio variety and quiz shows in Australia and for the British Broadcasting Corporation. He wrote and acted in the radio serial Yes What!, and appeared in many pantomimes. He died in Spain in 1972.
