Trevor Siegele loved being a student at Princes and excelled at rowing, athletics and football, and was a Prefect in his final year. On leaving school he returned to assist with athletics and to participate in the PAOCA Athletics Club, which he did for nineteen years. During this time the club enjoyed five premierships at A grade level as well as in B grade, junior and sub junior levels. PAOC was the only club to that date to win all trophies for the three age groups in the state championships.
It was this enjoyment of Princes life which resulted in Trevor’s long term service to the Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Association. For twenty two years from 1984 he served on the committee and for fifteen of these as Treasurer.
Trevor Siegele gains a great deal of pleasure from his being a member of the Princes community and particularly enjoys attending PAOCA regional dinners, often in the company of his wife Colleen, who has supported his outstanding contribution to the success of the Association and for which he was awarded honorary life membership in 2008.
