Hiring sports facilities at PAC

Prince Alfred College has a range of world-class sporting facilities including:

  • The RED Centre
  • John Dunning Sports Centre
  • Tennis Plexipave courts
  • Hockey and tennis Supergrasse pitch – newly upgraded in 2023

Our students and old scholars use PAC’s sporting venues throughout the year, meaning hire opportunities are limited and outside of school hours only. The RED Centre

The RED Centre is our flexible, multipurpose sports and health facility. Opened in 2013, it features a two-court basketball stadium, indoor swimming pools (25m and beginner pool), change room facilities and several well-appointed teaching and function spaces. The RED Centre also houses a modern health and fitness studio and is home to Kent Town Swim.

Facilities are principally used for students for co-curricular sport trainings and matches, physical education classes and other educational pursuits.

Old Scholars of Prince Alfred College can become an annual member of the Red Centre (see details below) for access to the fitness studio/ gym and squash courts. Facilities are not available for individual/ personal hire. John dunning

John Dunning Sports Centre

Capacity: 500 seats; 300 banquet style (30 x round tables of 10)

The John Dunning Sports Centre is a multipurpose sports stadium located in our Preparatory School. There are limited opportunities to hire the John Dunning Sports Centre for sporting and conference use. Please contact us to discuss venue hire options for the John Dunning Sports Centre.

Park 9 & Park 15 Sporting Fields

Park 15 - King Rodney Park / Ityamai-itpina
Park 9 – Bundey’s Paddock/ Tidlangga

Prince Alfred College maintains grounds owned by the City of Adelaide Council, namely Park 9 in North Adelaide and Park 15 opposite the College. These sporting fields are available to external community and sporting organisations, subject to availability and City of Adelaide consent. These grounds are not for individual hire.
